Its about a girl name Billie jo.Her parents are very poor.Her ma and pa thought that she was going to be a boy.After they found out that she was going to be a girl so they still call her Billie Jo.Her pa didn't get a lot of money.He was working as a farmer.Her ma was a beautiful piano player.She was teaching Billie Jo how to learn how to play the piano the she does.Billie Jo goes to school with the person she doesn't like.His name is Mad Dog Craddock.So after that a teacher name Arley Wanderdale came to teach music.Mr. Wanderdale saw how Billie Jo was playing her piano so well that he invented her to play piano at Palace Theatre.She found out that Mad Dog was also going she got mad.She told her ma where she was going to play at but she no because its to far away.She also said that Mr.Wanderdale is not a real music teacher and what's the point of playing piano its useless.finally she said yes and let her go. pages 1-32.
